Very easy-to-use, the tool is clamped using one single pressurizing screw. An internal piston pressurizes hydraulic fluid into a chamber surrounding the holder bore, uniformly applying high pressure to grip 360° around the tool shank. This holds cutting tools with excellent precision.
Fine balanced as standard, hydraulic chucks can reach rotation speeds up to 40,000 rpm. The stop end screw allows the projection of the tool to be easily set, while reduction sleeves, acting as a split collet, allow the chuck to grip more shank sizes and types, including Weldon and Whistle Notch.
To prolong tool life and enhance precision, the bore has a helical groove where dirt, oil or grease can collect when it has inadvertently been left on the tool shank
